On April 25, Amtrak 50 dropped off BNSF office cars 7 "Santa Fe" and 31 "Bay View" at Cincinnati Union Terminal.  The two cars were picked up by CSX and placed on CSX Q505 which departed this afternoon for Louisville.  At Louisville, they will be delivered to R. J. Corman Railroad for use on a Kentucky Derby special on May 1.  Here are photos of the cars on the rear of Q505 at KC Junction in Covington, Kentucky.

On March 25 around 10:30am, a northbound NS train derailed 8 cars northbound out of the Valley at Gest Street Yard.  Reportedly the cause was a broken rail.

Shortly after noon on March 16, NS 236 derailed while switching the pig yard at Gest Street being Tower A.  Photos were taken from Fairview Hill and Gest Street.

On March 9, the Ringling Brothers & Barnum & Bailey circus train arrived shortly after midnight from Youngstown, Ohio via NS.  Here are some photos after the train had been spotted and unloaded.  The NS power remained parked about a half mile east of Oasis and was posed nicely under the Holy Cross Immaculata Church in Mt. Adams.  The flat and animal cars were parked at Oasis next to the Montgomery Inn Boathouse, and the rest of the train was at Undercliff.

On March 3rd, CSX Q360-03 derailed four cars at Hamilton, Ohio just south of the depot.  Here are photos of the cleanup.
