Cincinnati East Terminal


Cincinnati East Terminal (CCET) is a 24 mile shortline that started in March of 2014 to operate the former NS / N&W Cincinnati District between Clare Yard and Williamsburg, Ohio. CCET is part of the Frontier Rail family owned by Paul Dideluis. CCET is Frontier Rail’s first shortline operation in the eastern United States.  Power for the CCET are three former Alaska Railroad GP49’s.

Initial power for the CCET was a leased R. J. Corman GP38-2, seen in this photo crossing the Little Miami River at Clare on May 10, 2014.
